Earn Money Ways

                                   Part 1 of 3 Parts

Most home business online opportunities starts with your own website (although this isn’t absolutely required, which may be different than what you have thought; though not discussed in this Earn Money Ways article). Without people visiting your online web store (your earn money way website), no matter how terrific your website looks or how great your product is, you will not make any sales. Needless to say, it’s absolutely critical to learn and apply proven, basic, internet marketing strategies designed to bring traffic to you, thereby giving you a chance to succeed at online home business opportunities. Next then, is, how do you do that? Good question.

For those with their own website for online home business opportunities, or those going in that direction, here are some tips.

First Earn Money Ways tip: Web based internet marketing begins with a website design; a particular ‘look’ if you will, for interesting your visitors. If you will be perusing free traffic, you will then have to optimize your website for search engines. This is called search engine optimization or SEO for short. To optimize, you’ll need original content (‘content’ is net speak for information articles). Add new content containing keywords periodically throughout (can you pick out the keywords in this article?), in order to attract search engine spiders (that’s a good thing). Add a blog (search engines love blogs). You should also make your site easily navigatible to visitors. Have a privacy policy, and a contact link. And lastly, you’ll need a way of monetizing your earn money ways site. So when that free traffic which comes your way as it does with proper SEO strategies, you’ll have a way of generating a sale. Each earn money ways website, regardless of traffic generation method(s), should only focus on one particular niche; but it may include ‘related’ sub-niches. E.g., if your niche is going to be exotic combs, a sub-niche might be antique hairbrushes or barrettes. And your content (those are your articles remember, if you’re going for SEO), would be relevant to your niche. If you aren’t going for search engine optimization, then you may not need content but just a good sales letter enticing visitors to check out your affiliate link. The Earn Money Ways website is an example of a website going for search engine optimization.

It’s important for you to understand too, that search engine optimization is a science all in it’s own right, and I’m leaving a lot out here obviously. But these are the starting blocks to SEO, when perusing free traffic. And take notice the next time you do a search at how many web pages come up. You have to beat all that to get on the first page when solely doing SEO. Possible? Oh yes! Easy? Could be easier than you think.

If your earn money ways strategy isn't going to use SEO for your online home business opportunities, that means you will have to bring traffic to your site by advertising. Internet advertising can take many, many forms, but the most common form is called Pay Per Click (PPC). What this means is you will pay a fee to a search engine like Google or Yahoo every time somebody clicks on your ad. Your ad will show up in places like related search results (those ads you see at the top and right side of your own search results are PPC ads), or on other people’s websites that allow these ads to be placed there. The ads are matched up to the theme of the website, so, if your website’s theme is hairbrushes, the ads won’t appear on truck tire websites for instance, but instead will be on an earn money way site related to hair grooming.

Of course, you could create an earn money ways website and allow search engines to place ads on it and every time a visitor clicks on an ad on your website you earn a fee from the advertiser. But you still have to funnel traffic to your site for this idea to work. (Tip: Using PPC to direct traffic to your sites containing ads that earn you a fee when clicked on is NOT a very good business model to emulate; you’ll end up spending more on PPC than you’ll make from the clicks on your ads.)
